He has organised free STEAM workshops for over 500 underprivileged children, and developed a compact robot designed to support children with special needs in limited living spaces. In addition, as Chairlady of the Programming Team, she trains schoolmates in competitive programming and has launched workshops on large-language models for underprivileged children.










Helen has made remarkable accomplishments in math, science, technology and public speaking. Notably, she represented Hong Kong and obtained a silver medal at the China Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad, and ranked as the top-scorer in the local Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics. 

Her math modeling projects related to sustainable land-use planning and mitigating pet abandonment have garnered international acclaim. A four-time Speech Festival champion, she has also shared insights on nurturing student leaders at Google’s Women Techmakers gathering, and proposed policy recommendations at student leader events. Helen aspires to be a computer scientist.

To further advance Chinese music, Boris meticulously directed and filmed the Chinese Drum Ensemble’s Chinese New Year Promotional Video, which received widespread acclaim and positive feedback from students, teachers, and community members.

Recently, he worked as an official at the Centre for Further Studies and served as an ambassador for the hospitality team, where he shone as an emcee and guide for external guests. Looking ahead, he aspires to serve society as a doctor, aiming to bring joy and positivity to individuals’ lives, much like the uplifting power of music he shares.

He was the artistic director of the award-winning multimedia project “Dare to Dream, Fuelled to Fly” at the Education Bureau’s GalaMusica • School Creative Works, integrating choreography, animation, lighting and original music to inspire youths to pursue their dreams with determination.


Aiming to foster global awareness among students, Samuel co-organised his college’s Model United Nations, piquing interest in the critical evaluation of diverse international perspectives. At the Australian International Music Festival, he performed as a piano soloist at the Sydney Opera House in Dr. Steve Ho’s “Kung Fu Rhapsody”, reflecting his commitment to cultivate cross-cultural appreciation through the arts.

Charlotte is a mental health advocate, as well as a survivor of mental disorders. Despite the overwhelming challenges, she persisted with her schoolwork and was eventually awarded the MCS Class Award and the Creativity Scholarship in recognition for her endeavours.


Inspired by her past experience with mental disorders, Charlotte founded Be Positive HK, a student-led initiative with the goal of raising public awareness of mental health issues. 




Since its founding, Be Positive HK has held events for primary school students informing them about positive psychology, as well as starting an interview series for secondary students featuring expert speakers sharing their top mental health tips. 

Her time with the organisation has prompted Charlotte to realise that there is an inadequate level of support available in the mental health field, bolstering her resolve to found a mental health NGO in the future.

As a newly arrived student in Hong Kong, Yoyo encountered significant challenges in adapting to a new environment, particularly with the language and academic systems. 


Nevertheless, through determination and active effort, she overcame these obstacles and successfully integrated into her school community. Within one year, she transformed from a confused newcomer into a proactive student, and she now ranks first in her form under the DSE curriculum. 







Yoyo is actively involved in school life as a Monitress, assists with school events, participates in the marine coral conservation project, and takes part in various competitions both inside and outside school. These experiences have strengthened her understanding of the difficulties faced by newcomers, inspiring her to continue supporting them in the future.

Years ago, Gary’s world was small. Paralysed by academic failures and crushing shyness, he struggled to speak even to classmates. But within him burned a quiet resolve—limits are self-imposed, he’d later realise. 


First, raising a trembling hand in class; then engaging in the Sea Cadet Uniform Group. Courage grew. He went 40km to HKUST just to discuss an exam, led storytelling teams and rebuilt his grades through relentless study strategies. 



Today, Gary has transformed from a shy student to a confident leader and proactive learner, confident enough to win an award in a public speaking competition—his resilience now a beacon for peers. 

"Growth is choosing courage daily," he reflects. Now eyeing a future in life-changing software for lost teens, his journey screams truth: struggles bend but don’t break us.

Riko Kusumo

Riko is a manifestation of a fighter coupled with a lotus, one who does not let reality stop his soul from succeeding.


The brutality of reality, Riko's ASD diagnosis and mental illness left him feeling trapped. However, with the caring support of school dog Big Ben, meditations and relentless willpower, he made it out alive.





Riko's recipe for pulling himself out of this difficult period included plenty of grit, meditation, mindfulness and inspiration. He took to hiking countless mountains, which led him to complete the 100km Gurkha Trust Trailwalker, Oxfam Trailwalker Sydney and Oxfam Trailwalker Hong Kong. 


Riko also performed Tsugaru shamisen at the AIA carnival, and had his non-fiction story included in Halfway Home XIV. He hopes his fellow "Aspies" can follow suit.

Ling Cheuk Laam

Ling Cheuk Laam, raised in a public housing estate, faced youth challenges concerning her parents. This led to hopelessness and a desire to abandon volleyball. Recognising despair was unproductive, she resolved to use the sport as a catalyst for positive change for herself and her family.


After a two-year hiatus, she re-engaged with volleyball, joining an external team. She rigorously dedicated herself to training—studying techniques, practicing diligently, seeking guidance, and analysing strategies to improve. 



Her path included setbacks, like multiple rejections from the Hong Kong representative team. Undeterred, motivated by her family, coach, friends, and initial dream, she persevered, learning from each attempt.


Today, Cheuk Laam is a starting player for the Hong Kong Women's Volleyball Team. She actively promotes the sport through major Hong Kong sporting events and campaigns, aiming for international representation.

Born and raised in Sham Shui Po, Lam Ka Hei recognised inclusion as the foundation of a thriving community. As a leader of Making Miracles and his school’s Community Service Union, he is dedicated to amplifying every voice. 


Over the past five years, his work has included tutoring ethnic minority children, sharing warm meals with elders, bringing joy to homeless children through interactive games and enriching elderly visits with engaging activities, all of which have fostered unity across their diverse community.




This dedication fuels his efforts in Kim Shin Lane, where he transforms the challenges of redevelopment into opportunities to preserve cherished memories. Through the Oral History Chronicler Scheme, he conducted interviews and produced documentaries, preserving elders’ stories of resilience to nurture connection and neighbourhood spirit. 

His teaching experience in Guizhou’s rural villages deepened his belief in the importance of intergenerational bonds for connecting communities. With unwavering passion, he strives to ensure every story is heard, inspiring a more cohesive and inclusive Sham Shui Po.

Cheryl is a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and social inclusion. She chairs her school's Community Youth Club while leading both the volunteer team and Community Service Department. 


Her commitment to equity took shape when she recognised the struggles of non-Chinese-speaking students, inspiring her to launch the "Non-Chinese Integration Volunteer Series"—a program bridging cultural gaps through language workshops, storytelling sessions and speech training. 





Her advocacy extended to policy discussions when she was invited to share insights with Secretary Alice Mak on the "Youth Development Blueprint", contributing to enhanced support for ethnic minority youth.


Recognised as one of Hong Kong's Top Ten Outstanding Teens, an 11-year scout and a "Scout of the Year" recipient, Cheryl has led as an emcee, leader and mentor. Through these roles, she encourages her peers to step beyond their comfort zones and work together for a more inclusive society.

Mok Cheuk Ki’s motto of being a servant leader reflects her commitment to making a meaningful impact in her community. Last year, she founded Animal Blessing, a youth-led organisation dedicated to promoting animal welfare and fostering community collaboration to enhance sustainability. 


Under her leadership, the organisation has successfully integrated over 100 volunteers from diverse age groups and proudly donated more than 600 items to local animal shelters.



Growing up in Hong Kong, Cheuk Ki has embraced diversity and inclusion by initiating programs for Special Educational Needs (SEN) awareness. 


Additionally, she has conducted workshops for ethnic minorities and participated in outreach services, including visits to temples and shops opened by ethnic minorities. Looking ahead, she is determined to explore the complexities of social issues and advocate for marginalised communities.

Yan Ki was the winner of the Leadership Institute on Narcotics, where she utilised Cantonese theater to educate others on drug prevention, making complex topics accessible and engaging across generations.


Whether through debate or community service, Yan Ki demonstrates how Cantonese can be a catalyst for positive change – building empathy, awareness and stronger communities through communication.

As Captain of the Chinese Debate Team, Thomas led his teammates to the finals of major competitions, including the Basic Law Cup, Sing Tao Debate, Hong Kong Schools Debate Federation, Fun Cup, Hong Kong Debate Premier League and the Model International Conference Competition.


To give back to his alma mater, Thomas organised in-school debate competitions. Through these events, students exchanged ideas and discerned truths from different perspectives, which has undoubtedly enhanced their critical thinking skills.





Thomas’s aspirations extend beyond debate. This year, he founded “Tung4 Jyut6”, a student-led initiative dedicated to bringing joy to children. Leveraging his public speaking skills, he conducted an interview skills workshop to help children from low-income families and pediatric patients build confidence in communication.


Looking ahead, Thomas aims to expand “Tung4 Jyut6” by partnering with more organisations, and he remains committed to using the power of language to create a positive impact on society.

Over the past five years, Katrina has devoted herself to debating and advocating for the underprivileged through the power of her words. 


As the Chairlady of her school’s Chinese Debating Team, she has developed and organised learning materials for the mandatory Chinese debating course.






Outside of the classroom, she has helped organise one of Hong Kong’s largest Chinese debating competitions, deepening her appreciation for Cantonese culture through her engagement with the language. She is determined to preserve this linguistic heritage by actively promoting Chinese debating.


To Katrina, debating is more than competition: it is a means to empower others. She finds great fulfillment in harnessing the power of language to inspire hope and make a difference in the lives of those around her.

Yao Yue Seng Ellisha

Ellisha has always been captivated by the power of language, beginning with publishing picture books and winning international poetry recitals in kindergarten. 


This evolved into a passion for competitive debate, leading to three years on the HK national debate team and victories in tournaments such as SSSC, WSC, FLTRP, Oxford Schools and Doxbridge. She has also adjudicated prestigious competitions like APWSDC, ASDC and SPARK. 





Ellisha leverages language for public engagement, winning Cambridge CCIR, in conjunction to being managing editor of the ISSIA newsletter, a journalist for YoungPost and GSIS newspaper, and writer of her Substack blog which garners 1000+ monthly views. 


As founder of Shatin Leo Club, she has taught debate, interview-skills, and English to 400+ underprivileged, visually impaired and SEN students. An aspiring lawyer, Ellisha has published research on euthanasia ethics, launched a legal literacy Know Your Rights project and leads GSIS Law Society and Mock Trial ECA.

Li Tsz Ching Kelina

Kelina believes the power of language lies in its ability to instill a sense of confidence and expose students to a vast breadth of pressing global issues. 


In the past year, she was the 1st runner-up winner representing Hong Kong in the Junior JCI International Public Speaking Championship, and currently serves as the Deputy Secretary General of ISMUNHK, a student-led Model United Nations conference welcoming over 500 students annually.





With keen enthusiasm for linguistics and psychology, Kelina’s experience as a tutor for a young boy with dyslexia has also reaffirmed her fervent passion for investigating the intersection between the two areas. Over the past year, she was recognised internationally for her writing on the psychology behind language acquisition and its nuances. 


In the future, Kelina aspires to pursue a career in educational psychology to holistically support children with special educational needs in their own linguistic journeys.

With her expertise, she coaches debate weekly to 40+ young debaters, tutors English to refugee children in Hong Kong, and leads her school’s debate club and English tutoring center. 



Her work as a teacher in recent years has taught her to always practice empathy, particularly to those who are underprivileged.


Outside tutoring, Mollie enjoys philosophical writing as a two-time Merit Awardee of the John Locke Global Essay Competition. Mollie aspires to pursue a career in law in the future.

Seeing her schoolmates grow from hesitant beginners to confident speakers is what drives her.




Beyond school, she also engages in different community events by performing Putonghua recitation, where she uses clear, heartfelt Putonghua to honour traditions and connect with diverse audiences. 

Mei Wai believes Putonghua is more than a subject—it’s a bridge to understanding, a tool for leadership and a passion she’s committed to sharing.

Over the past 14 years she has dazzled on global stages, earning accolades such as 1st Runner-Up at the Dance World Cup 2021 in England and Champion at the Asia Pacific Dance Competition 2023 in Thailand.





For Edna, dance is more than trophies—it’s a bridge between hearts. She choreographs and performs in public estates and charity events, using high-energy jazz to spread joy and contemporary pieces to spotlight social issues, sparking dialogue through art.


She believes that dance speaks where words cannot. Whether on international platforms or local stages, Edna’s passion and purpose prove that rhythm can inspire change—one step at a time.

Abby is an all-rounded young musician majoring in voice. She has received numerous international prizes in erhu, harmonica, harp, violin and vocal competitions. She has been studying in the HKAPA Junior Music Programme since the age of 13, and was honored with a scholarship.


Last summer, Abby was invited to perform at the Winners’ Concerts at the New York Carnegie Hall and Singapore Conference Hall. 




This year, she clinched three vocal solo champions in the 77th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival. In this school year, she also serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Heep Yunn School Choir.


Besides personal growth, Abby is always keen to serve the community. In 2024, she co-organised the Blessed Harmony Charity Recital, coaching and performing with people with special needs. She believes that music is always an international language, as well as a powerful tool to connect our souls and minds.

Andrew is a youth musician majoring in voice and flute performance. He began his formal music education in the Junior Music Program at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA).


Andrew won the Champion titles in the open class of the prestigious Ms Barbara Fei Vocal Solo Prize and the London Youth Music Competition. His solo performance has been broadcast on Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK), and he was recognised as a Hong Kong Arts Ambassador.





He is the co-founder and artistic director of Cityscapes of Central, a multimedia project that integrates music and videography to explore the cultural richness of Hong Kong. The initiative features a youth chamber orchestra and aims to engage audiences through creative storytelling and community-centered performances.


Andrew also served as the Student Conductor and Chairman of the St Stephen’s College Orchestra and Symphonic Band.

Emily is a science leader dedicated to turning research into real-world impact. She participated in the International Genetically Engineered Machine competition three times—twice as a student leader and once as an advisor—earning two Gold Medals and one Silver. 

Her work merged synthetic biology with therapeutics in projects addressing cancer, cardiovascular disease and antimicrobial resistance. She has also represented Hong Kong on the international stage at the Paris Jamboree, showcasing youth-led innovation. 





Committed to science education, Emily independently created a biotechnology-themed card game and storybook, producing 2,000 copies to engage young learners beyond traditional classrooms. She now serves as Chairperson of the 58th Joint School Science Exhibition Preparation Committee, a fully student-led, registered non-profit and charitable organisation. 

She leads citywide science competitions, workshops and exhibitions, and coordinates sponsorship and funding efforts. With over 100 hours of service through community outreach organisations, Emily uses science to connect, empower and inspire. Her goal is to make science both impactful and inclusive.

Austin’s academic rigor and dedication to scientific inquiry fuel his passion for robotics and STEAM education, which he uses as a platform to inspire change and create opportunities for others.


Despite facing challenges at home, Austin has represented Hong Kong in multiple international competitions, achieving significant milestones such as winning regional championships and excelling at global tournaments. Beyond his personal achievements, he has devoted himself to community service by organising free STEAM workshops for underprivileged children and partnering with universities to make education more accessible.






His innovative mindset led to the creation of a record-breaking compact robot designed to support children with special needs in limited living spaces. Austin has also extended his outreach globally, donating STEAM kits to underserved communities abroad. Back home, he continues to tackle systemic issues, advocating for sustainable robotics education funding and planning initiatives like Hong Kong’s first regional robotics championship.


Through his perseverance and vision, Austin exemplifies how science and innovation can empower communities and inspire the next generation.

Chow Timothy Stephen

Timothy was the youngest player across all footballing nations during Hong Kong's historic run in the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games, guiding Hong Kong to their best place finish in history.


His passion for football starts at home, right here in Hong Kong. He aims to use the sport to provide a community for those who don't have one. As the community ambassador for “Sports For Life”, Timothy serves as a role model for refugees and marginalised youth, demonstrating the importance of balancing academic and athletic excellence. 





Timothy was selected to participate in the Hong Kong Premier League's All Star XI, becoming Hong Kong's youngest player to play against Lionel Messi's Inter Miami in front of 40,000 people.


In the future, Timothy hopes to continue empowering youth, showing them that football is more than a game - it is a lifeline, a community and a catalyst for change.

Jayden began fencing at the age of six, but a year later, his life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Since then, he has relied on lifelong insulin injections to manage his health. Balancing his blood sugar levels remains a constant challenge, especially during training sessions and competitions. 

However, through his unwavering determination and resilience, his family's attentive care and the encouraging guidance of his coaches, Jayden has achieved remarkable achievements, earning him numerous awards in both local and international fencing tournaments in the past few years.







Though diabetes has reshaped Jayden’s life, it has never dampened his passion for the sport. Instead, it has forged him into a stronger, more compassionate individual. 

Jayden aspires not only to leave his mark on the fencing hall but also to inspire others, particularly young people, facing their own struggles to pursue their dreams fearlessly and embark on their journeys with confidence.

Leung Nga Lam is a player on the Hong Kong Tennis Team and has represented Hong Kong three times in mainland competitions last year. She also qualified for the Roland Garros Junior Series, one of the world's major championships, where she faced top-level players from Asia.


Passionate about giving back, Nga Lam serves as the Chairperson of the Sport Association of Ti-I, where she has assisted in events like Sport for All Week, introducing niche sports to her schoolmates and encouraging greater participation. 




Additionally, she joined the social innovation program “Seek Our Way”, fully supported by HSB, which integrates sports and art to enhance people's interest.


In the future, Nga Lam aims to continue her dedication to sports in Hong Kong, promoting sports psychology for elite athletes, helping them develop both physical and mental resilience.

Lau You Gi

Lau You Gi is a passionate student artist who views art as both a medium for self-expression, and a powerful tool for uniting communities and bridging cultural divides. At the age of five, he exhibited his art at the Asia Hotel Art Fair, and since then, has garnered numerous awards in competitions across Hong Kong, Japan and Europe. 

Since 2014, he has served as Arts Ambassador for the Young Artists Development Foundation, fostering art in his community. He has also led overseas workshops, introducing foreign students to ink painting and Chinese calligraphy as a form of cultural exchange. 





Winning the highest award at the world’s largest international youth plein-air competition in Europe, he took the opportunity to forge global connections and founded VisualVoke, the first international student art organisation aimed at artistic expression and advocacy. 


Through this platform, he continues to inspire, connect and empower young artists in his community and beyond.

Josie is a passionate advocate for creative expression. From a young age, she recognised the power of art to convey emotions and perspectives. During her junior years, she led a picture book creation to raise awareness for individuals in recovery. 


Her role as Chairlady of the Visual Arts Team fuelled her desire to make a broader impact. She subsequently spearheaded various art-related initiatives throughout her artistic journey, with her most notable project being in the Hong Kong Impact Makers 100, where she pioneered an initiative focused on helping children articulate their feelings creatively.  



Her dedication to visual arts has been recognised by the Grantham Visual Artist Award in 2023, motivating her to strive for excellence.


Josie believes that visual arts can empower children to communicate their emotions. Her vision is to create a world where every child has a voice, fostering understanding and connection through creative expression.

Beyond her artistic skills, she actively contributes to her school community through leadership roles and involvement in Art Club, organising events that foster creativity. 

Stella is deeply committed to using art as a tool for social change and inspiration, as demonstrated by her award-winning projects like the WhatsApp Sticker Design Competition focused on mental health awareness. She aspires to continue making meaningful contributions through her art.

Ema is deeply passionate about preserving marine ecosystems in Hong Kong and globally. At just 12, her documentary on Hong Kong corals gained international recognition, winning international awards including a Gold Remi at the Houston International Film Festival, Best SCINEMA Junior Award, and finalist at the 27th ifva Film Awards and Earth Futures Festival. 


Her second animated short film was a finalist at the 20th International Ocean Film Festival. Fueled by a desire to empower young people to drive change through storytelling, Ema founded Making Waves Club. 



She organises workshops, speaks at events and leads the annual International Ocean Youth Eco Film Festival, engaging over 3,000 young filmmakers from 50+ countries. As a UNITAR Young Ambassador Asia Pacific and Co-President of Kids4Kids Advocates Leadership Team, her work has been featured on four continents. 


Ema finds inspiration in sailing, diving and relaxing by the sea.

Suen Hei Tung Ariel

Ariel is dedicated to advancing accessible and sustainable energy by exploring the intersection of technology and entrepreneurship. Recognising that energy is essential for societal development, Ariel is driven by her ambition to uncover the potential of innovative materials. Her journey spans university courses and hands-on research, where she has built batteries from scratch. 

She has then communicated her ideas on various platforms, including as the Champion of ESF Innovation Fair, a UNITAR Asia-Pacific Youth Ambassador, and at the Climate Science Olympiad and Junior Elevator Pitch Challenge.




Understanding that not all regions have equal access to sustainable resources, Ariel has expanded her focus to advocate for sustainability. As Secretary General of KGVMUN II, she initiated a forest-planting project aimed at sequestering 250 tonnes of CO2. Her involvement with groups like ESF’s Sustainability Alliance enabled her to further promote sustainability. 

Looking ahead, Ariel intends to take her energy-focused explorations to new heights.

She is the developer of DGS Zero, an app that encourages her fellow students to reduce their carbon footprint and adopt recycling habits. 





She also created SignMaster, an AI-powered app that teaches Hong Kong Sign Language, and earned herself a silver medal at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva.


Moving forward, she hopes to continue exploring how sustainability and technology can intersect to drive positive change.
